FRESH COAT OF PAINT EQUALS INSTANT UPDATED STYLE

MID CENTURY MODERN HOME

This lovely "Eichler Style" home, located in beautiful Stanford, CA was in desperate need of a paint facelift. It is home to a wonderful family with a very busy lifestyle, juggling kids, dogs & careers! It had been ten years since the owners last painted and as would be expected in sunny California, the paint had begun to show fading & some peeling. They wanted to keep with the Mid-Century Modern style of paint color, but also wanted to stay a little conservative and go with paint colors that would not go out of style in a few years. We ended up choosing a very neutral for the main exterior color (Kelly Moore - Greystone) which really tied into their exterior hardscape. For an accent color, we went with a bright green (Kelly Moore - Carol's Purr) on the entry gate as well as the front door. As many design projects go, once they decided to update the paint, they decided to update the front door with a very modern/contemporay, stylish door.
